Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta
Garlic butter shrimp pasta that comes together in 20 minutes. Quick enough for weeknights, impressive enough for guests.
Ingredients
- 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- While pasta cooks, melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook 30 seconds.
- Toss in the cooked pasta, shrimp, parsley, lemon juice, and Parmesan. Add pasta water as needed for a silky sauce. Serve immediately.
