Classic Tuna Salad Sandwich

A classic tuna salad sandwich made with simple, fresh ingredients. Creamy, crunchy, and satisfying — perfect for lunchboxes or a quick lunch at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 celery stalk, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons finely diced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slices bread, toasted
  • Lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Drain the tuna well and flake into a bowl with a fork.
  2. Add mayonnaise, celery, red onion, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
  3. Toast the bread. Layer lettuce on 4 slices, spoon tuna salad on top, and close with remaining bread.
  4. Slice diagonally and serve.
