Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
Tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savoury garlic-ginger sauce. Better than takeout, ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + ΒΌ cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Steamed rice for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch slurry.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Stir-fry broccoli for 2 minutes. Remove.
- Add remaining oil. Cook beef in a single layer for 2-3 minutes without stirring, then toss and cook 1 more minute.
- Add garlic and ginger, cook 30 seconds. Return broccoli. Pour sauce over and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything. Serve over rice.
