Classic Tuna Salad Sandwich
A classic tuna salad sandwich made with simple, fresh ingredients. Creamy, crunchy, and satisfying — perfect for lunchboxes or a quick lunch at home.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 celery stalk, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons finely diced red onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices bread, toasted
- Lettuce leaves
Instructions
- Drain the tuna well and flake into a bowl with a fork.
- Add mayonnaise, celery, red onion, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
- Toast the bread. Layer lettuce on 4 slices, spoon tuna salad on top, and close with remaining bread.
- Slice diagonally and serve.
