One-Pot Mac and Cheese

This one-pot mac and cheese is the ultimate comfort food made simple. Everything cooks in a single pot — no draining, no separate sauce, just creamy, cheesy perfection.

Ingredients

  • 300 g elbow macaroni
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Add macaroni, milk, water, butter, garlic powder, mustard powder, salt, and pepper to a large pot.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens (about 10-12 minutes).
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in cheddar and Parmesan until melted and creamy.
  5. Let rest 2 minutes before serving.
