- Paneer: 150-200 grams, cubed
- Green peas (fresh or frozen): ½ cup
- Onion: 1 medium, finely chopped

- Garam masala: ½ teaspoon
- Red chili powder: ½ teaspoon
- Cream: 1 tablespoon (optional)
- Oil or ghee: 2 tablespoons
- Fresh coriander leaves: for garnish
- Salt: to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare Paneer: If using store-bought paneer, soak the cubes in warm water for 10 minutes to soften.
- Sauté Paneer (optional): In a pan, add 1 tablespoon oil or ghee. Lightly fry the paneer cubes until golden. Set aside.
- Prepare Masala:
- Heat the remaining oil or ghee in the same pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

- Add turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Cook Green Peas:
- Add the green peas and about ¼ cup of water. Cover and cook until the peas are tender (around 5 minutes).
- Add Paneer:

- Finish:
- Stir in the cream (optional) for a richer gravy.
