Creamy tomato soup is the meal that feels like a hug in a bowl. Made with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt, pepper, basil

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion and garlic in butter.
  2. Add tomatoes and broth. Simmer 15 min.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Stir in cream. Season. Serve.
